Installation is easy! Using a 2mm Allen Key, loosen the two set screws in the OEM knob. Remove the knob. Pull off the OEM foam rubber washer and set it aside. Position the Knob Stabilization Washer on the Cab unit positioned with the larger diameter against the Cab face. Reapply the OEM knob. Tighten the two knob set screws.

Why the Knob Stabilization Washer was created. NCE Cab throttles have a round knob to operate the throttle (both the potentiometer and encoder styles). The throttles typically have a foam rubber "washer" underneath the knob to provide a slight offset and to help prevent the knob from wobbling. The knobs, however, often still wobble. The wobbling can be hard on the underlying pot (potentiometer) or encoder component. The Knob Stabilization Washer replaces the foam rubber washer providing solid support for the OEM knob and removes the wobble.
